Native Habitat:  Africa: southeastern Benin, through southern Nigeria and Cameroon to northwestern Equatorial Guinea. Occurs in swamps and swampy parts of small streams in the coastal forest.
Temperament:    Peaceful.
Feeding:    Some flake foods high in protein and adult brine shrimp, along with live foods such as grindal worms, white worms, Daphnia, Moina, and newly hatch brine shrimp nauplii
Sexing:    Males more colorful and with display fins
Comments:    Difficult and not recommended for beginners.
