Native Habitat:  Africa: Guinea Bissau to southern Liberia, around Monrovia. Occurs in coastal rivers, brooks and swampy areas in forested savanna and under forest cover
Temperament:    Peaceful.
Feeding:    Some flake foods high in protein and adult brine shrimp, along with live foods such as grindal worms, white worms, Daphnia, Moina, and newly hatch brine shrimp nauplii
Sexing:    Males more colorful and with display fins
Comments:    Difficult and not recommended for beginners.
