Native Habitat:  Central Africa: Restricted to the middle Mungo drainage system, western Cameroon. Occurs in wells, brooks, swamps and pools in the rainforest and secondary savanna. Not a seasonal killifish. Is easy to maintain in the aquarium
Temperament:    Males are a little aggressive, certainly when breeding with females. Therefore best kept in trios, rather than pairs.
Feeding:    Some flake foods high in protein and adult brine shrimp, along with live foods such as grindal worms, white worms, Daphnia, Moina, and newly hatch brine shrimp nauplii
Sexing:    Males more colorful and with display fins
Comments:    Easy for beginners. Lifespan is about 3 years. Non-annual plant spawning killifish.
